My photo series big fin explores underwater spaces. This concept was developed for an installation in the Kaispeicher in Hamburg, where the challenge was to use photographic techniques to capture bodies shooting through the water at high speed. Light boxes are placed at the front end of the room, directing the visitor's attention to the video installation. The Big Fin swimmers were reanimated as film sequences. Three back projections onto screens create a total spatial sense and give the viewer the sense of being underwater, surrounded by depth and boundless space. Material: Light boxes 80 x 200 cm, 6 video beamers, light boxes, back projection screen, sound
