What happens when we abstract from the presumed movement, light and shadow and commence to distinguish prototypes and structures in terms of designs or patterns? Within the visual synthesis, the contrast of the materiality of water and vegetation deliquesces into fluid lines and cadenced patterns. The river of life – water as the energy source of growth – becomes emblematic.
